Kate Middleton Brings Out Her 2012 Matthew Williamson Dress For Place2Be Speech

Something old and something new all in 24 hours.

It's been another busy few days for The Duchess of Cambridge.

On Wednesday, Kate Middleton attended the Place2Be Headteacher Conference where she gave a rare public speech on an issue that is close to her heart — children's mental health.

"As today's theme reminds us, many children — even those from stable, happy homes — are finding that their heads are just too full. It is our duty, as parents and as teachers, to give all children the space to build their emotional strength and provide a strong foundation for their future," Kate said in her speech.

Bringing back one of her most beloved frocks, the Duchess wore her grey pre-fall 2012 Matthew Williamson peplum dress with emerald stone detailing to the event. She kept lush brunette hair down, which was windblown in thanks to the breezy weather.

The day before, at The Fostering Excellence Awards, Kate debuted a new dress from emerging designer, Saloni. Meeting young children, foster carers and social workers, the mother-of-two sported the mid-length royal blue Martine dress, a frock made of crinkle-effect fabric, as she delivered a brief speech at the presentation. She accessorized the look with a Alexander McQueen leather belt and her classic Mulberry "Bayswater" clutch.

As for her hair, the 33-year-old donned a a half updo with tight curls which showed off her gorgeous Catherine Zoraida Fern Hoop earrings.

Prior, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge paid a sombre visit to the French Embassy to offer their condolences after Nov. 13th's devastating attacks in Paris. Each wrote an individual message, paying tribute to the victims. The Duchess wrote, "To all those who have died and were injured in the heartless attacks in Paris, and to all the people in France: Nos plus sinceres condolences," signing off with 'Catherine.' She wore a polka dot blazer with a matching pencil skirt.

Well said, Kate.
