Calgary police are searching for a driver in a hit-and-run that sent two kids to hospital Friday.

Three children were crossing at an unmarked crosswalk at Bermondsey Way and Berkley Drive in the city's Beddington Heights area when a vehicle drove through a stop sign, hitting a 10-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy, said a news release.

The third child was not hit.

The kids were taken to the hospital to be treated for broken bones and bruising. The vehicle, believed to be a white Dodge Ram truck or something similar, is said to have driven over the girl.

Investigators are asking the driver, or anyone else with information to come forward or contact Crime Stoppers.
