Gigi Hadid Debuts Bob Hairstyle On The American Music Awards 2015 Red Carpet

The supermodel debuted a short bob on the American Music Awards red carpet

Short hair, don't care!

Gigi Hadid said au revoir to her famous long, blond locks, showing off a brand new short 'do on the American Music Awards 2015 red carpet on Sunday evening.

The 20-year-old supermodel arrived at the awards sporting a bob hairstyle, which was styled in a slicked back wet look. The chic 'do complemented Gigi's sexy white ensemble, which consisted of a revealing cropped halter top with criss-cross details and a long, matching skirt with a thigh high slit. Hadid described her custom Bao Tranchi ensemble as "California beachy-ish" to E!'s Giuliana Rancic.

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show model's makeup was kept natural with well-groomed brows, soft metallic shadow and a hint of blush. Long lashes and nude lips completed her understated look.

The face of Maybelline hinted at her new hairdo on Snapchat earlier in the day, writing "have a surprise for you today."

However, the hair may be short-lived — the Topshop model hinted on E!'s red carpet that it isn't permanent.

"You can check back tomorrow to see if I still have short hair," she told Rancic. "I'm testing it out."

She then told the E! host that there are "tricks of the trade" that helped her achieve the short 'do, without actually cutting it.

We say, keep the short locks, Gigi!
