Veteran Redblacks QB Henry Burris wants to prove doubters wrong and win Cup

WINNIPEG — The Ottawa Redblacks worked out on a field dusted in snow Wednesday, gearing up for Sunday's Grey Cup showdown with the Edmonton Eskimos.

Quarterback Henry Burris says he's arrived at Investors Group Field with a chip on his shoulder, saying he wants to prove all his doubters wrong.

He says the Redblacks have had an amazing season, with good coaching and good players at the root of their success. But he the job is not yet done.

There was a light snowfall for Ottawa's morning practice at Investors Group Field. The sun came out midway through the session but the temperature of minus-four Celsius was said to feel like minus-10.

The Redblacks piped in crowd noise midway through the practice to help set the scene for Sunday.
