In case you ever have the occasion to meet royalty, here's what to wear.
On Friday, Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau proved once again that she's a style force to be reckoned with while meeting Queen Elizabeth II at the Commonwealth Heads of Government dinner in Malta.
For the occasion, the wife of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau donned an elegant, white floor-length gown by Zac Posen featuring billowy short sleeves and delicate pleats on the bodice. She paired the dress with a simple white clutch, skinny silver bracelets and pearl drop earrings. A chic chignon finished off her look.
Prime Minister Trudeau kept things formal in a black tux, complete with a crisp white dress shirt and matching bow tie. And the Queen looked as regal as ever wearing a floor-length, crystal-beaded gown and an emerald and pearl necklace with matching tiara.
Earlier in the day, Sophie arrived at the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting wearing a pink lace dress and matching fascinator — a style reminiscent of the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton.
The Trudeaus are set to visit Paris for the next leg of their European tour.
