'Time To Choose': Charles Ferguson's Film Offers Hard Look At Global Climate Change

Turn up your speakers and get comfy: you're going to want to watch all of this

As global attention shifts to Paris ahead of the 21st Conference of the Parties (COP21), the Huffington Post has partnered with Academy-Award winning filmmaker Charles Ferguson to take a hard look at global climate change with his latest film: "Time To Choose."

But don't expect just an examination of the leading causes behind the worldwide phenomenon. Instead, Ferguson's movie argues that now's the time to deal with climate change because the tools, and knowledge, are readily available.

But there are signs that any further delays could lead to dire consequences.

The past year was the hottest in recorded history. Sea levels are rising at an unprecedented rate thanks to melting glacial ice. Ecosystems are also suffering, with coral reefs dying off at record rates due to the warming of oceans.

Canada sent its own delegation of ministers and provincial leaders to COP21 on Monday, Nov. 30. Ferguson's film will also be screening twice at the conference. The documentary will also be made available in Canada for the next 48 hours. You can watch in the embed above.
