Maskwacis RCMP Investigate After Girl Found 'Seriously Injured' On Gravel Road

Maskwacis RCMP are asking the public for help after a girl was found injured on a gravel road near Edmonton.

The unnamed girl was found Sunday morning near Samson Cree Nation and taken to hospital with unspecified "serious" injuries, according to a news release.

Police have not released the girl's age, but have noted she is "older than a child."

Unable to identify the girl, police are asking people to come forward with any tips.

More details are expected to be released as the investigation continues.
