Nardwuar the Human Serviette, one of Canada's most prominent music journalists, is recovering from a stroke in his hometown of Vancouver.
The personality, known for his quirky and well-researched interviews with major artists, suffered the health episode at a Christmas party for Mint Records on Saturday.
He's now recuperating at Vancouver General Hospital.
Nardwuar has made a name for himself as a knowledgable journalist who's interviewed a wide variety of musicians, including Snoop Dogg.
But some of his most famous sit-downs (or swing-arounds) are with Canadian politicians.
Nardwuar spoke with former prime minister Jean Chretien after protesters were pepper-sprayed at the APEC conference at UBC in 1997.
Nardwuar has also done the now-famous "hip-flip" with a handful of Canadian leaders, including Chretien, Paul Martin, and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
The journalist received an outpouring of well-wishes on social media as he recovers.
