Mani Monday: A Modern Christmas Nail Art Design

And it's quick and easy to do!

The tree has been trimmed, the gifts wrapped and the stockings hung with care. Now, it's time to figure out what to do with those nails.

Well, there's no need to add more stress to your plate. This modern Christmas nail art design is super easy and quick to do!

Start by applying a metallic red nail polish to all of your nails.

Next, take a nail art brush and a green metallic polish, and create a zig-zag line starting a little away from the cuticle for the modern Christmas tree. Create a stump with the green polish as well. Go over this design with a couple layers of the green polish to make sure it is vibrant.

Using your nail brush, take a gold metallic polish (not just a glitter topcoat) and create a star at the top of the tree. An extra coat or two may be needed to achieve full opacity.

Wait five to 10 minutes, and then apply your topcoat. The topcoat not only protects this design, but also makes the metallic polishes more vibrant.

Polishes Used: OPI Ro-Man-ce on the Moon, Nicole by OPI A Heart of Gold, and Misslyn Kiwi Bomb.
