We're calling it — 2016 will be the year of Daisy Ridley.

With no formal experience on her resume and just a few years out of performing arts school, the 23-year-old actress landed her breakout role as Rey in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." And given the magnitude of the role, you can bet she will be one to watch in the new year.

The Brit has already caught our eye during the movie's press tour, thanks to her stunning red carpet ensembles.
