Lupita Nyong'o Rocks Metallic Blue Lipstick At 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' European Premiere

Taking that "from a galaxy far, far away" to the next level.

We love a bold lip on Lupita Nyong'o, but her latest lipstick is taking things to a whole new level.

The 32-year-old actress attended the European premiere of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" on Wednesday evening and stole the show with her metallic blue lip colour, which was totally appropriate for the occasion.

The hue, which Nyong'o's makeup artist, Nick Barose, deems "metallic galactic blue lips," was a combination of two Lancome eye products (Drama Liquid-Pencil Longer Eyeliner in Minuit and Color Design Eyeshadow in Sapphire Lace) mixed with lip balm, according to Teen Vogue.

"When it comes to unusual lip colour, think outside the box," Barose tells the glossy. "Sometimes you can use eye products to create a unique colour. Blue lipstick can seem scary, but its all in layering the right shades and depth so the effect is luxe and not garish."

To balance out the bold lip, the rest of Lupita's makeup was kept fairly simple with a cat eye and glittery blue shadow.

The "12 Years A Slave" star's hairstyle was also quite statement-making, consisting of a high bun wrapped in mesh. She dubbed it the "#MeshKanata" on Instagram.

And of course, the Lancome ambassador's Proenza Schouler dress was also out of this world, especially with the fringed-bottom metallic skirt overlay.

Perfection.
