Calgary Donor Hosts Private 'Star Wars' Screening For At-Risk Calgary Kids

At-risk youth got to take part in something special thanks to an anonymous Calgary donor.

The force is strong with an anonymous Calgary donor who provided 180 at-risk youth with a private screening of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" on Saturday.

The generous donor invited the kids, as well as the volunteers and staff of two youth groups — Kids Up Front and Cornerstone Youth Centre — to the Cineplex Odeon in Sunridge.

After the movie, kids got to celebrate with Stromtroopers and Jedi at a pizza party back at Cornerstone Youth Centre.

Luke Skywalker himself tweeted praise for the donor's generosity.
