January. It feels like a slow month compared to the madness of the holidays.
You'll need to take some time to sit back, unwind and catch up on your favourite shows. And Netflix Canada has you covered.
The streaming service is offering almost 30 new titles in January. The one that has us most excited is "Inside Out," the touching Disney/Pixar film about the emotions roaming around inside a girl's brain, which starts streaming Jan. 26.
Amy Poehler and Phyllis Smith offer strong performances as Joy and Sadness, two emotions that realize they can't function without each other. And just wait until you meet Bing Bong (Richard Kind).
That's only one of a number of titles that are worth checking out when the new year rolls around. Call it Netflix's wish for a happy and joyful 2016.

"Big Fish"
Tim Burton's 2003 drama about a father-son relationship is among his greatest films. Billy Crudup plays a young man coping with the impending death of his father (Albert Finney), a born storyteller whose tall tales have never impressed his son. Jessica Lange has a deeply touching turn as his mother.
"About Time"
"Love Actually" helmer Richard Curtis directs Rachel McAdams and Domhnall Gleeson in a sweet tale about a young man who learns he can travel through time. But he soon discovers that even ripping open the fabric of time and space has its limits.
"The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel"
The sequel to 2012's "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" sees idealistic hotel owner Sonny (Dev Patel) hoping to expand as his current facility has only one vacancy left. Good thing he has co-manager Muriel (Maggie Smith) to help keep him grounded.

"Chelsea Does"
This Netflix original has comedian Chelsea Handler speaking candidly about issues such as alcoholism, drugs and racism. And making us laugh all the while.
"Suits" season 4
The fourth season of the popular USA Network show about Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), a college dropout who is hired to work at a high-powered law firm by the ambitious Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht).

Angry Birds Toons
It's 2015, and we still can't have enough of those hilarious birds and those dastardly pigs. Now Netflix has them in cartoons that you can't control on your tablet. But there are still plenty of hilarious hijinks.
