Premier Wade MacLauchlan makes minor shuffle and increases cabinet by one

CHARLOTTETOWN — Prince Edward Island Premier Wade MacLauchlan has increased the size of his cabinet by one and shuffled some responsibilities.

MacLauchlan made the announcement in Charlottetown, saying his government has a robust agenda for the next three years and the changes provide the senior leadership that's necessary to get the work done.

Doug Currie departs health and wellness as well as family and community services to become minister of education, early learning and culture.

Robert Henderson joins cabinet as the new minister of health and wellness.

Tina Mundy replaces Hal Perry and becomes minister of family and community services.
