Suspect arrested after 2 stabbed at Air Canada operations centre

Peel police have arrested a suspect in a double stabbing at an Air Canada operations centre in Brampton that prompted a hold-and-secure late Thursday night.

Numerous officers responded to a business on Ironbridge Road after reports of two people with stab wounds just after 10 p.m.

Peel police say the suspect was arrested off-site and that tactical teams have ensured the building, where under 100 people are employed, is now safe.

One victim is in critical condition and has been taken to a trauma centre. Another suffered a wound, possibly from a knife.

Police say they aren't yet clear on what led to incident.
