'Deadpool' Cast As Romantic Comedy In Hilarious New Posters

So ... what are YOU doing for Valentine's Day?

Consider seeing a movie this Valentine's Day.

There are all kinds of romantic choices coming to theatres around that time. Like "Zoolander 2." And "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies."

And, um ... "Deadpool."

That's right. The edgy comic book movie starring Ryan Reynolds is being released on Feb. 12, just in time for Valentine's Day. So the film's marketers are capitalizing on the day with a series of posters that recast it as a romantic film.

The Vancouver-shot "Deadpool" tells the story of Wade Wilson, a ex-Special Forces soldier who undergoes an experiment that leaves him with strong healing powers.

He thereafter wears a red suit and takes on the name Deadpool, fighting baddies like Ajax (Ed Skrein) and Angel Dust (Gina Carano), and doing it all with a dark sense of humour.

This isn't the first time that the producers of "Deadpool" have released some tongue-in-cheek marketing to promote the film.

The promos certainly have people excited. But somehow, this STILL doesn't seem like a perfect movie for Valentine's Day.
