Arcade Fire To Lead David Bowie Tribute Parade In New Orleans

"Dress in your best Bowie outfit or something more strange."

Indie rock band Arcade Fire are set to lead a parade through New Orleans this weekend in tribute to David Bowie.

The group, along with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, will lead fans through the city on Saturday January 16 in an event titled "Pretty Things".

The Facebook event page instructs participants to "dress in your best Bowie outfit or something more strange" in honour of the musician, who died on January 10.

Bowie and Arcade Fire collaborated several times over the years, with the group paying tribute to the singer following the news of his death, saying: "We will take to the grave the moments we shared; talking, playing music and collaborating as some of the most profound and memorable moments of our lives."

David Bowie was one of the band's earliest supporters and champions. He not only created the world that made it possible...
