After a heartbreaking week saying her final goodbyes to late husband Rene Angelil, Celine Dion has chosen to opt out of her brother Daniel's funeral to avoid continued public mourning.
ET Canada reports the Quebec singer did not attend her brother's funeral on Monday, which took place three days after her husband's public funeral.

However, on Saturday, the 47-year-old singer did join her family at her older brother's memorial at a funeral home in Repentigny, Que., a suburb of Montreal, People magazine reports.
Dion lost both her husband and brother to cancer, just two days apart. Daniel had cancer in his throat (like Angelil), brain and tongue, Le Journal reports. He was 59 years old.
