Canadian sprinter Andre De Grasse wins 60-metre race at Millrose Games

NEW YORK — Andre De Grasse is kicking off his pro career in style.

The Canadian sprinter finished first in the 60 metres on Saturday afternoon at the Millrose Games.

His time of 6.61 seconds was one-100th of a second faster than China's Su Bingtian.

It was De Grasse's first competition since winning a pair of bronze medals at the world championships last August.
