Happy Birthday, Cindy Crawford!
Earlier this week, she and her husband Rande Gerber jetted off to St. Barths ahead of her milestone 50th birthday today. In the video above, Crawford steps out on the beach looking flawless in this black two-piece swimsuit, joined by her husband of more than 17 years.
It seems like no time has passed since the beauty first took the modelling world by storm with her striking looks and signature beauty mark.
Crawford shared this throwback to her 21st birthday, looking remarkably similar as she blows out the candles on a cake, iced to look like her January 1987 Vogue cover.
"There are things I'd wish weren't part of aging," she told the UK's Sunday Mirror in 2010.
"But what you gain is much more than you're giving up. I don't think you come into your own until you're 35 or so."
With age, Crawford has certainly grown wiser, and we love her refreshing take on growing older.
"I don't look the same as I did 20 years ago, nor should I," she told Parade.com a few years ago.
Her philosophy about aging in such a youth-driven world is a great example and she'll always remind us, "Even I don't wake up looking like Cindy Crawford."
Rumours were circling that Crawford would be retiring from modelling now that she's 50, but Crawford's since cleared things up saying she's not closing herself off to opportunities.
