'DAMN, DANIEL' Meme Takes Over The Internet, White Vans Become The Must-Have Shoe

DAMN DANIEL.

Every now and then, the Internet proves that it is the greatest place on Earth. It gives rise to ordinary people with the use of one single button: "upload." It has made a grocery bagging boy at the local Target an American heartthrob, one single, and utterly confusing, white and gold (or blue and black?) dress divide the world, and now it has made one teenager and his sick pair of white Vans the latest viral sensation.

This past weekend, everyone was talking about a teenager named Daniel Lara and his white Vans in thanks to a video uploaded to Twitter by friend (and best hype man ever), Joshua Holz.

In the video, which now has 260,000 retweets and 330,000 likes, Holz films Lara over a series of days strutting around at school, playing it cool and smiling shyly whenever the camera is pointed at him.

Each time the Riverside High Schooler debuts a new outfit, Josh says, in probably the greatest voice we've ever heard, "Daaaaaaamn, Daniel!"

And whenever Daniel appears wearing one particular sneaker, Josh praises his friend: "back at it again with the white Vans!"

As for Vans, we're still waiting to hear if the white kicks are flying off the shelves worldwide. All we do know is, they're making it a point to say the white Vans have "never left."

So it's time to stop asking "WHAT ARE THOSE" because, obviously, they're white Vans and we're calling it as the must-have shoe for the spring. Look, even people on Twitter are needing them ASAP:

Dammmmmn Daniel, back at it again with the white vans
