Just when you think you've heard all of the covers and parodies of Adele's hit "Hello," the singer drops one of her own.
During her visit to "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" last week, the 27-year-old recorded a personalized voicemail message for the 58-year old comedian at her request.
“I thought it would be really cool if you would record my outgoing message for my phone,” said DeGeneres. The singer obliged by reading the message DeGeneres had prepared for her.
But once Adele finished reading the card, DeGeneres asked for another favour — for the message to be sung, despite the syllables posing a bit of a challenge.
Adele agreed once again, this time singing “Hello it’s me, I was wondering if after all these years you’d leave a message at the beep. Hello, can you hear me? I’m in California dreaming about the message that you’ll leave. “Hello from Ellen!”
