Dolce And Gabbana's Fall 2016 Show Was Inspired By Disney

Bye Prince Charming, this one is for the independent princess.

What if Cinderella walked the runway at Milan Fashion Week?

Well, she kind of did in thanks to Dolce & Gabbana.

This past weekend, Milan Fashion Week wrapped up in Italy and all we can say is Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana's Disney-inspired catwalk left us all in a fairy tale dream.

"Today, every girl wants to be a princess,” Stefano Gabbana told Vogue. "Today, everything is possible for the young generation! We know how the world is today. Fashion makes people dream—this is the service fashion gives."

The collection, which played on the romanticism of the fairy tale and a new generation of independent princesses, featured mirrored gowns accompanied by Cinderella-esque glass slippers, detailed military jackets perfect for Prince Charming and other frocks that had some of Disney's most iconic characters embroidered on them (yes, we're talking about Mrs. Potts and Chip).

The wondrous set donned storybook elements like a giant pumpkin carriage, the "who is the fairest of them all?" mirror and Aladdin's magic carpet.

"The new generation of princesses are not only independent, but they possess a keen perspective and point of view. They are individuals first and foremost," the design duo said in a press release.

And we all lived fashionably ever after.
