We can hardly believe this little cutie is Vancouver-born actor Jacob Tremblay. The nine-year-old “Room” star posted the throwback photo to Instagram a few weeks ago, joking that he's had the “same hair style for 9 years.”
The young actor has been stealing the spotlight over the past few months thanks to his adorable personality and hilarious quips. Previously, Tremblay showed off his epic dance moves at the 2016 Critics’ Choice Awards and fanboyed after meeting Leonardo DiCaprio for the first time at the SAG Awards.
But nothing compared to his appearance at Sunday’s 88th Academy Awards on Sunday. Tremblay owned the red carpet with his parents, Jason and Christina, who caused a frenzy on the internet thanks their good looks.
Tremblay also geeked out about “Star Wars” by showing off his Millennium Falcon cufflinks and taking a photo with his “new squad,” consisting of R2-D2, C-3PO and BB-8.
The pint-sized actor presented the award for best live action short film alongside Abraham Attah, while standing on a stool. He continued to be his adorable self during the ceremony by taking selfies with all his celebrity friends.
It's safe to say that Tremblay has already won us over. We can’t wait to see what else he gets up to in 2016.
