Missing persons investigation focuses on Tsawwassen house

An unoccupied house in Tsawwassen has been cordoned off by Delta Police as part of a "suspicious missing persons" investigation.

A police forensics team is currently conducting a thorough search of the house on the 2000 block of Tsawwassen Drive.

The search was prompted by information that a missing male was believed to have been on the property at some point, Acting Sgt. Sarah Swallow said Thursday morning.

The house is on Tsawwassen First Nation land, but police do not believe the case is connected to the TFN.

The missing male is not a child or youth, Swallow confirmed, and police are in touch with his family.

No further information was released, but Swallow said police would update with more details at 4 p.m. PT.
