Rolex worth $34K stolen from north-end Starbucks: police

A man who brought his Rolex watch to Starbucks to sell got more than a Venti wad of cash, when a man approached, hit him and made off with the pricey timepiece, according to police.

On Tuesday, police said, a 44-year-old man brought the $34,000 watch to the Starbucks at Bathurst Street and Finch Avenue.

Not long after he arrived, another man approached, struck him on the head and grabbed a bag that held the watch.

The suspect then fled the café.

Police have released an image taken from security camera footage of their suspect. He is described as a white male in his 20s, standing five-feet-ten inches with a heavy build. He has facial hair, and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
