Avocados taste delicious no matter how you prep them, but there's something about these shaved avocado recipes that will change how you look at them altogether.

Dutch food blogger Colette Dike of FoodDeco is pretty good at using avocados for recipes, but she is particularly good at shaving them.

"'Avocados are very healthy and very photogenic. With all the styling possibilities from shaved avocado, avocado rose and avocado dots they make the perfect styling component for home cooked diners," the 30-year-old recipe creator told the Daily Mail. "While smashed avocado, no matter how delicious, may be coming a bit tired, the shaved variety is a lot more versatile."

On her Instagram page, Dike has recipes for everything from shaved avocado sandwiches with tahini to polenta pizza with avocado to an oven-roasted sweet potato stuffed with whipped feta and shaved avocado.

Other Instagram users, including user ducklings.and.deadlifts, has also experimented with shaved avocado with delicious results.

If you're the type of person who is about presentation or just get bored of eating the same thing every day, shaving avocado will not only change up the appearance of your dishes, but it will also let you experiment with new recipes.

So readers, start shaving!
