BeaverTails are no longer a thing Torontonians only get to enjoy during summer festivals — the great Canadian pastry shop is putting down permanent roots in the city's Harbourfront area.

In a post on their Facebook page in late February, the iconic Montreal-based company revealed they have transformed the old Pier 6 Harbourfront building at 145 Queens Quay into the largest Ontario location. The spot also includes indoor and outdoor seating with a view.

According to Blog TO, the new location will replace the seasonal Waterfront kiosk, and will feature a full menu complete with poutine, gelato and more frozen treats.

While the kiosk is gone, Toronto's BeaverTails food truck will continue to operate around the city for those who craving that sweet, sweet, fried dough.

BeaverTails Toronto Waterfront is set to open its doors on Mar. 19 with a grand opening party including free samples, face painting and boat tours if the weather permits.

The iconic Canadian company has locations all across the country, plus cafes in Dubai, South Korea and Japan.
