It hasn't been a harsh winter, but when you live in Canada there comes a time in late February/early March when you start counting down the days till spring.
In case you lost count, spring this year starts March 20. That's right, the first day of spring (also known as the start of the Spring Equinox) is less than a week away.

While this day marks the official end of winter, we wouldn't suggest putting away your winter coats just yet. The Weather Network predicts a little more snow and chilly temperatures across the country before it gets warm and dry.
What we are looking forward to, however, is spring cleaning, spring recipes and a lot more room for sunshine.
