The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had net income of 10 cents per share.
The metal and coal mining company posted revenue of $355.6 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported net income of $313.3 million, or 16 cents per share, swinging to a profit in the period. Revenue was reported as $1.63 billion.
In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, the company's shares hit $2.95. A year ago, they were trading at $3.03.
