A Quebec man was on his way to work on St. Patrick’s Day when police arrested him for drunk driving — at 8:20 in the morning.
The 51-year-old Val-des-Monts man was making a U-turn when police noticed him, according to a release from MRC des Collines-de-l'Outaouais police.

It was when police approached him to help with his maneuver that officers noticed the “advance state of impairment.”
Police say the man’s blood-alcohol level was two-and-a-half times over the legal limit.
The man’s licence has been suspended for 90 days. His car has also been seized for 30.
Police did not say if the man made it to work.
