Political leaders to face off in Saskatchewan election debate tonight

REGINA — Political leaders of the two main parties vying to form the next Saskatchewan government will face off tonight.

Saskatchewan Party Leader and Premier Brad Wall will take part in a televised debate with NDP Leader Cam Broten.

Wall, who was first elected as premier in 2007, is seeking a third term in office while Broten is heading up his first campaign since becoming party leader in March 2013.

Both men say it's important to make their case to Saskatchewan people.

Wall is practising with his senior adviser and says it's important to get ready.

Broten says he thinks the best preparation is being out listening and talking to people about what matters most to their families.
