Former administrator of Saskatchewan town facing 30 charges of fraud

CRAIK, Sask. — A former administrator of a Saskatchewan town has been charged with 30 counts of fraud.

Mounties say the fraud happened when the accused was the administrator of Craik between 2010 and 2014.

Craik is about 120 kilometres north of Regina.

RCMP began an investigation in 2014 after the town contacted them about possible fraud.

Police have not released the name of the accused.

The man's first court appearance is scheduled for June in Moose Jaw.
