Drew Barrymore Divorce: Actress Splitting From Husband Will Kopelman

"It was never really love at first sight."

Drew Barrymore and her husband of more than three years, Will Kopelman are calling it quits. Both Page Six and People Magazine have confirmed the couple are planning to divorce.

Barrymore, 41, has always been honest about the troubles she faced in her marriage to the 38-year-old art consultant, whose father, Arie Kopelman, is a former Chanel CEO. In an interview with InStyle in October, she admitted that "it was never really love at first sight."

"Will struck a lot of my pragmatic sides," the actress told the magazine. "He was someone who was always reachable on the phone, someone who was a classy human being, someone who had this incredible blueprint of a family that I don't have." Their marriage involved compromise and concessions, she said.

The pair have been living apart for the last few months, and close sources observed that the two seemed disconnected as a couple, ENews! reports. Kopelman has been noticeably absent from his wife's social media. A post celebrating their third anniversary last year was the last photo Barrymore shared of the two on her Instagram.

Happy anniversary Mr. Kopelman, cheers to you! I love you and I love our daughters !!!!!!! #threeyears

The duo married in June 2012 at Barrymore's home in California after dating for a little over a year. Barrymore has been married twice before, and had failed engagements at age 16 and 17.

An unnamed source told ENews! that Barrymore was reluctant to break the family up for their daughters' sake, especially because of her own tumultuous childhood. The actress and entrepreneur's own parents split when she was 9, as she began her rise as a child star. She told MORE magazine that it will influence her parenting and is committed to being there for Olive, 3, and Frankie, 23 months.

Both she and Kopelman have always made their children their number one priority. Last October, Barrymore told People Magazine that they tend to put their kids ahead of their "coupledom", and just yesterday she posted a photo of herself grinning after inking a tattoo of her daughters' names on her inner wrist.
