Driver Who Escaped SUV Teetering On A Ledge Is Hit By Bus

He was treated in hospital for major injuries.

The driver of an SUV in California is very lucky to be alive.

The man lost control of his vehicle and nearly drove off the edge of a canyon road in Malibu Saturday. Disoriented, he stepped out of his SUV — and was then hit by a tour bus, sheriffs said on Facebook.

The man was conscious when emergency crews arrived and he was taken to hospital.

Eyewitness photos shared with ABC7 News showed the vehicle dangling off the edge of the road.

The California Highway Patrol told the outlet that the driver, Silviano Gonzalez Ramirez, was treated for major injuries.
