10 Sleeping Disorders You Should Know About

Sleeping disorders can be a scary thing.

We all know people who snore or toss and turn in their sleep, but there are some sleeping disorders that are much more serious.

According to the video above by AllTime10s, sleeping disorders can range from not breathing in your sleep to uncontrollable night urges to even hearing loud noises before bed.

One of the disorders mentioned, sleep apnea, is broken down to into two main types. Obstructive sleep apnea occurs when a person's throat muscles relax and their airways close. The second type of this disorder, central sleep apnea, is less common and happens when the brain stops sending messages to the breathing muscles — essentially, you forget to breath.
