If you were scrolling Instagram this weekend, you may have noticed a higher amount of palm tree photos on your feed. That's because nearly EVERYONE was at Coachella, the hot desert music festival that gives us major FOMO (fear of missing out, FYI) each year.
Coachella is so hot in fact, that the festival has not only one weekend of musical celebrations, but two. Yet, we all know that weekend one in Indio, Calif. is by far superior because of the star power that storms the grounds (read: an abundance of celebrity #OOTDs and star-studded pool parties). So we have to honour the glorious event of a bunch of A-listers casually hanging out during the music festival, right?
And guys, this is Coachella we're talking about. You bet the fashion was crazy, over-the-top and downright wild.
So, here are 10 celebrities living their best lives at Coachella:
Kylie "I started wigs" Jenner debuted a new peach hair colour on Coachella day one that everyone LOVED. But the look didn't even last a mere 24 hours, as the 18-year-old hair chameleon moved onto rainbow braids on day two. As for her fashun, the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" starlet sported two very racy bathing suits, including an embellished Discount Universe bikini and a Louis Vuitton cut-out one-piece.
To honour her participation in this year's music festival, Taylor Swift went plantinum blond. Oh my! She captioned her edgy photo "Bleachella," in which she donned a bomber jacket and reflective sunglasses. The new dramatic 'do, which isn't entirely surprising in thanks to her May Vogue cover, was a standout amongst her other squad members.
Also, we must mention, the girlfriend of Calvin Harris (who closed the festival with his DJ set) did make a HUGE fashion statement (literally) over the weekend. In one Instagram post, Swift wrote, "I feel like maybe chokers are the new flower crowns?"
So you heard it, people. Taylor Swift has declared the flower crown DEAD.
When you're a supermodel, you can basically do whatever you want. And Kendall Jenner did just that by freeing the nipple. In an itsy-bitsy lace top, Kendall flaunted what her mama gave her. She paired the oh-so-'Chella look with a statement choker and a cowboy hat. Babe.
It's official: year in and year out, Vanessa Hudgens proves she is the #coachellaqueen. With her jeweled brows and 'I haven't showered in three days' curls, the "High School Musical" alum takes Coachella style to the next level. No one can overtake her, she sits on a throne of good dance music and crochet bikini tops.
Speaking of jeweled eyebrows, Bella Throne decided to rock that beauty look too. However, she took it to the next level by adding in a (fake, we're guessing) septum piecing. In the words of the 18-year-old, "Vibes."
How did Hailz mark the start of #Coachella2016? By dying her hair a smoky grey (dramatically different from your grandma's hair, FYI). All weekend long, the up-and-coming supermodel kept things low-key with oversized vintage bomber jackets, hoop earrings and bandannas.
If performing at the festival wasn't cool enough, Ellie's off-stage style was all kinds of awesome as she sported an oversized Colour Haze jacket by Hunter, metallic shorts and super sleek white shoes. The "Love Me Like You Do" songstress finished off the look with a pair of festival-appropriate sunnies.
Pastel pink hair, a glittery smoky eye and bedazzled nails? Kesha's Coachella look is what dreams are made of.
Bucket hats ruled the 2015 music festival circuit and it looked like Lorde wasn't ready to let go of it. The "Royals" singer looked adorable poolside in the checkered hat and lace-up body suit that she paired with denim shorts.
No one does a Coachella pool party like Emily Ratajkwski. Just look at this video as evidence.
