Queen Elizabeth 90: Her Majesty Marks Her Birthday With Sweetest Photo

The photo was taken by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz.

To mark Queen Elizabeth's 90th birthday on Thursday, the Royals have released the sweetest photo, taken by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz. In the photo, Her Majesty is pictured with her youngest family members.

"The Queen with her five great-grandchildren and her two youngest grandchildren that was taken in the Green Drawing Room, part of the Castle's semi-State apartments," the British Monarchy included in its Facebook post.

So who are these darling children? Many will recognize William and Kate's children, Prince George, 2, who is standing beside the Queen, and 11-month-old Princess Charlotte, who is sitting on her lap.

The others, from bottom left, are: Mia Tindall (holding the Queen's handbag), the two-year-old daughter of Zara and Mike Tindall; James, Viscount Severn, 8, and Lady Louise, 12, the children of The Earl and Countess of Wessex and the youngest of the Queen's eight grandchildren; Savannah, 5, and Isla Phillips, 3, daughters of the Queen's eldest grandson Peter Phillips and his wife Autumn.

Leibovitz took two other official portraits of the Queen, one with her dogs and one with her daughter, which were also released on her birthday on Thursday.

And just yesterday, the Royal Mail released an official four-generation photo of the Queen, the Prince of Wales, the Duke of Cambridge and Prince George.

This isn't the first time Leibovitz has taken Queen Elizabeth's photos. Back in 2007, she had an infamous interaction with Her Majesty, which was filmed by a BBC documentary crew and became known as "Queengate."

While the Queen appeared to be storming out of the photo shoot, she actually stuck it out. Leibovitz told the Mirror: "What was remarkable about the shoot, something the BBC missed, was her resolve, her devotion to duty, she stayed until I said it was over."

The photographer also admired Queen Elizabeth's feistiness.

Let's hope her birthday photo shoot wasn't as dramatic.
