Oshawa Shooting: 7-Year-Old Ontario Boy Hit By Stray Bullet

OSHAWA, Ont. -- A seven-year-old boy and a 23-year-old man are in hospital following a shooting in Oshawa, Ont., late Thursday.

Police say the boy was hit by a stray bullet inside an apartment while the man was shot outside.

Durham Region police also say the man was targeted in the shooting just before 11 p.m. on Colborne St.

The boy was shot in the buttocks and the man was hit in the abdomen and neither injury is considered life threatening.

Police have not indicated if the two victims knew each other.

No arrest has been made but police describe the suspect as a black man wearing a grey sweatshirt and black jeans.
