A teenage boy is in hospital with serious injuries after a shooting in the city's north end.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Kipling Avenue and Mt. Olive Drive at about 4:30 p.m. They found a 16-year-old boy who had been shot in the torso, according to paramedics.
He was rushed to Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children where he remains in serious condition.
Police and canine units are combing the area.
