ACHESON, Alberta (AP) _ North American Energy Partners Inc. (NOA) on Tuesday reported first-quarter net income of $4.7 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Acheson, Alberta-based company said it had profit of 14 cents.
The heavy construction and mining services company posted revenue of $57.2 million in the period.
In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, the company's shares hit $2.15. A year ago, they were trading at $2.92.
