We can all agree food is one of the best parts of going to a wedding and with so much variety out there, why not make some of these menu items at home?

Of course, creating a midnight buffet of fried chicken and poutine isn't practical for the average person, but according to Cynthia Beretta of Beretta Kitchen in Toronto, one wedding trend she is seeing in the catering world is cultural mashups.

"For couples who enjoy an array of different cuisines, menu mashups are a fun way to add a personal touch to their reception," she says.
