Munchkin Pacifiers Recalled In Canada

The items were sold between July 2014 and February 2016.

Baby product company Munchkin has issued a voluntary recall of thousands of its pacifiers sold in Canada.

The recall affects almost 16,000 of the brand's Latch Lightweight Pacifier & Clip sets, sold between July 2014 and February 2016, according to Health Canada.

The pacifiers themselves are not the problem. On the company's Facebook page, Munchkin said the coating on the decorative disc can weaken it in "certain environmental conditions " and detach. The detached disc can be a choking hazard.

Customers with an affected product can contact Munchkin for a replacement, the company said.

Health Canada has more information about the recalled products and their item numbers here.
