Sinead O'Connor No Longer Missing In Illinois After Going For Bike Ride, Say Police

Police in Wilmette, Ill. said Monday that she was missing.

UPDATE: The Willmette Beacon tweeted Monday that O'Connor has been found safe, according to police.

Sinead O'Connor is missing, say police in Illinois, and they're worried about her.

Cops in the village of Wilmette, near Chicago, said Monday in a statement that the singer went on a bike ride Sunday at 6 a.m. and didn't come back.

“The Wilmette Police is seeking to check the well-being of Sinead O’Connor,” police said, adding a caller expressed concern about her.

O'Connor is being classified as "missing suicidal," TMZ reports.

She was last seen on a Raleigh motorized bike with a pink basket, wearing a black parka and leather pants and a sweatshirt with the word "Ireland" on the back.

Just a couple of hours after she was last seen, she posted this to her personal page.

The singer alarmed many back in November after she posted an apparent suicide note to Facebook. She was found safe by Dublin police and received medical attention.

O'Connor was recently sued by talk show host and comedian Arsenio Hall over accusations that he supplied the late superstar Prince with drugs and that he had drugged O'Connor herself.

She said in 2011 that she had been misdiagnosed as having bipolar disorder, and later said she had post-traumatic stress disorder instead.

Back in 2012, she revealed that she had overdosed.
