INNISFAIL, Alta. — The wheels of justice have caught up with four Alberta men accused of being involved in the theft of 800 new tires.
RCMP say they were helping Edmonton police investigate a stolen tractor trailer unit filled with tires.
Mounties found the truck on Highway 2 near Innisfail on Wednesday and arrested the driver, but the trailer was empty.
Police later arrested three other men in a vehicle and recovered the rest of the tires on a rural property.
Trevor Wilvers, Kevin Brown, James Hussey and Corey Pasemko all face charges of possession and trafficking stolen property.
