The Real Reason Why Snapchat's Dog Filter Makes Everyone Look Good

MIND = BLOWN.

If you're an avid Snapchat user, you know that the filters are probably the best part of the app. And there's one filter in particular that seems to be a fan fave — the dog filter.

Yes, the filter that gives you brown ears and a cute little dog nose is just too damn good to NOT use. And for all of you saying it's for basics, 1) rude and 2) we'll happily accept basic status just to use it that much more.

But what is it exactly that makes this Snapchat filter so flattering? (Because seriously, everyone looks good when using this thing).

Well as it turns out, the filter does much more than just add ears and a nose ... it also smooths out your skin (like several other Snapchat filters) and makes your face slimmer.
