Kate Middleton's Royal Ascot Outfit Was Accessorized With A Name Tag

You know, in case you didn't know who she was.

Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, is a well-known figure worldwide. She is, after all, the wife of Prince William and the mother of Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

But for some reason, on day two of the Royal Ascot, Kate Middleton sported a NAME TAG overtop of her white lace Dolce & Gabbana dress.

Yes, that says "HRH The Duchess of Cambridge" ... in case someone at the annual horse race didn't know.

And the 34-year-old Duchess wasn't the only royal to sport the purple tag — her husband, Prince William, also wore one which read "HRH Duke of Cambridge."

Bizarre name tags aside, the royal couple looked oh so Duke and Duchess-like at the races.

Kate's mid-length D&G dress featured long sleeves and a flowy skirt and was perfectly accessorized with nude pumps and what may be one of Catherine's best fascinators yet (it was created by milliner, Jane Taylor).

Meanwhile, Prince William was looking dapper as ever in a double-breasted waistcoat with a tailcoat worn overtop. And to top it all off he wore, well, a top hat, because he's HRH The Duke of Cambridge, dammit!

Also, can we just take a moment to oggle the Duke and Duchess riding in on a horse drawn carriage and watching the races from their royal box?

We. Die.
