Prince William is challenging everyone to stand up and put an end to bullying.
"We all have a role to play to ensure that we do not stand by, but instead stand up, and put a stop to bullying," the prince said in a video filmed at Kensington Palace for The Diana Award Charity.
The charity, which was formed in memory of the prince's late mother Diana, Princess of Wales, officially launched National Stand Up To Bullying Day on Tuesday.
"Bullying is an issue which can affect any one of us, regardless of age, background, gender, sexuality, race, disability or religion," the prince said in his speech. "It can happen for many reasons, it is often stupid and cruel, and can take many forms."
And bullying doesn't just happen on the schoolyard — according to a survey commissioned by The Diana Award, 56 per cent of adults consider bullying commonplace at work.
Since becoming parents, both the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have become committed to ending cyber bullying.
The couple, along with Prince Harry, have also joined forces to put an end to mental health stigma by founding the Heads Together campaign earlier this year.
