Artists, athletes and actors took to social media on Friday to express their horror over the deadly shootings in Dallas, Texas.
Five officers were killed and seven others were injured.
Snipers opened fire "ambush style" during a peaceful march Thursday evening to protest against police shootings of two black men this week.
Three suspects are in custody and one has died. However, The Associated Press reports police are not sure all suspects have been located.
Singer and songwriter John Legend condemned the “morally reprehensible” killings in Dallas and called for calm.
Cleveland Cavaliers' Lebron James also responded to the week's incidents, tweeting the names of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile — the two men fatally shot by police this week.
