Liv Tyler is a mom again! The 39-year-old actress welcomed her second child with fiancé David Gardner on Friday, July 8. Their daughter, Lula Rose, was born weighing seven pounds, eight ounces.
Unable to contain her excitement, Tyler shared the first photo of her baby girl on Sunday. "Hello!!!!! Our beautiful baby girl is here!!!! Lula Rose Gardner," the proud mom wrote on Instagram. "We are soooooo happy heart exploding with love!!!!!"
In the sweet black-and-white photo, the newborn is seen sleeping soundly on her father's chest.
Gardner shared the same photo on Instagram and wrote: "Our gorgeous baby girl has arrived 'Lula Rose Gardner' unbelievably beautiful, healthy and thank goodness she looks like her Momma!!!! Truly blessed Daddies girl....Now the real work starts training her big brothers to all become Ninja's, Martial Arts Experts & 24-7 Body Guards!!!"
Lula Rose is the only girl in Tyler and Gardner's family. The couple have a 17-month-old son named Sailor Gene, and both have sons from previous marriages.
The "Lord Of The Rings" star is also a mom to 11-year-old Milo, who she had with her ex-husband, musician Royston Langdon, while her fiancé is also a dad to 8-year-old Gray, who he had with his ex-wife, actress Davinia Taylor.
The birth of Lula Rose means that the actress' famous father, Steven Tyler, is now a grandfather for the third time.
After Tyler gave birth to her second son, Sailor, last year, the actress opened up about what her father was like as a grandfather.
"He's kind of like having a wizard as a grandfather," she said during an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" "It's not a normal routine. We don't see him that often, but when we do it's like this magical wizard that comes to the house."
